Bollywood actors Hrithik-Sallu: Face to face!

They're both consummate actors. That's why Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, who, reportedly, can't see eye-to-eye lately, met at Sohail Khan's 40th birthday party, Saturday night, and behaved as if nothing was wrong between them.

Actually, all is not well between the Khans and the Roshans, two Bollywood families that have been thick for years. And this is because Salman attacked Sanjay Leela Bhansali by saying that not even a fly was in the auditorium showing his film Guzaarish. He took another shot at the filmmaker by asking a girl, who was hearing-impaired, at an event where he was chief guest to never meet Bhansali as the latter would make a lot of money out of her tragedy and not pay her anything. Nic Cage and the joy of the celebrity reduce

You and I do not make $20 million to pretend to hunt for treasure. We do not have Academy Awards and personal assistants; we have never owned any castles or pyramids. We generally don't walk around with a team of stylists and publicists standing between us and our unguarded thoughts, carefully prepping our little anecdotes for the next time we sit down with Leno.
So thank God for Twitter, YouTube, and every other medium that exists to remind us that no matter how famous a person is, no matter big his comic book collection may be, he can still screw up and melt down like the rest of us slobs. And thank you, Nicolas Cage.

In a boon for YouTube addicts across the world, Cage, who is currently in Romania filming the incredibly necessary sequel to "Ghost Rider," lost his cool during a squabble outside a Bucharest nightclub Sunday morning. His expletive riddled, inevitably recorded tirade -- featuring such instantly quotable lines as "Go for it, brother," "I'll fucking die because of honor," and "See my eyes?" -- turned up on the local news. And faster than you can say "Mel Gibson," the freakout was going viral. Read Full Story

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are getting ready for baby love times

On his 92.3 Now radio show Thursday, Cannon confirmed that he and Carey are expecting twins.
PHOTOS: Who else is expecting?
"In order for my wife and I to have our life, we need to be up front and I need to be able to share things with you and be real," Cannon, 30, said.
"I didn't even tell my wife I was gonna do this," he admitted. "I'm probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission...We are having twins!"
PHOTOS: Stars who got their body back after having twins
It gets even better, Cannon explained. The very first folks in the world to know about the twins other than Carey, 40, and her husband Cannon were President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama! After recently performing for the First Family for a White House Christmas special, Carey met with the Obamas backstage, Cannon said.
PHOTOS: I'm over 40 and pregnant!
"They actually even questioned my wife about [the twins]," he said. "She hadn't told anybody anything! Because of the excitement and emotion, she shared [the news] with the President and the First Lady."
The dad-to-be gushed that it will be an "awesome story" to tell their twins one day. Why the secrecy? "That was something that we were advised to keep close to ourselves," Cannon revealed. Read Full Story

Will Cliff Lee Be Better Celebrated in Philadelphia?

Cliff Lee’s decision to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies and leave millions on the table had some fans scratching their heads. But Lee also gave up the chance to make even more money through endorsements, advertisements and other business opportunities that he might have made playing in New York for the Yankees.
Maybe, though, doing celebrity endorsements isn’t his thing. Perhaps he prefers to let other athletes take center stage. Possibly, his five-year, $120 million contract will provide him with more than enough money.
Lee is certainly likable. His Q-Score, which measures consumer awareness and appeal, rose to 16 this summer, from 9 last year. Lee’s negative Q-Score, which tracks how many people do not like him, fell over that period.
By comparison, Derek Jeter has a 19 positive Q-Score, while Lee’s new teammate Jimmy Rollins has an 8.
But until now, Lee was not a household name, perhaps a function of having played in smaller cities like Cleveland and Seattle. Only 23 percent of consumers surveyed were familiar with Lee. That’s up from 18 percent, but still only as high as Jamie Moyer or Rollins.

Manchester City ready to charge Carlos Tevez for £50m

Manchester City board has revealed the latest in the developments of the Carlos Tevez saga. The latest reports from Eastlands have stated that if the Argentinean striker Carlos Tevez decides to end his career by retiring then the club will be suing the player for around 50 million pounds.
One might begin to wonder that Tevez handed in a letter transfer so how does the retiring dilemma come in between. Well it so happens that if Manchester City decide not to accept Tevez’s transfer request then the player might retire altogether from football.
Maybe later he would re-evaluate his decision and land running on the pitch again but for that to happen the player will have to undergo some assessment of UEFA and FIFA rules and regulations.
However, there is another possibility too and that is of the player retiring from football altogether, only this time his decision would be definite. Earlier in the season Tevez did gave Manchester City a scare when he stated that he might be retiring from football as he was tired from the life of a footballer and a celebrity. Read Full Story
